A stupid idea to avoid the stupid and ugly symlink farm idea that
Solaris used.

There *has* to be a better answer for this stuff.  We're in agreement
that there are two *bad* ways of doing it implemented in the world
already.

I'll shut up now but hope that someone comes up with a neat idea
for NetBSD.  Maybe then we'll convince the vendors to use it too.  :-)
