I have a test machine for development of drivers for our card.
It has Linux, NT and NetBSD on it.
The Linux ext2fs partitions are mounted as /emul/linux.
I've had a lot of problems with files being of weird types, both
with 1.3.2 and Havard's snapshot code. E.g:
ls -lta /emul/linux
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 12288 Oct 28 20:42 lost+found
dr-xr-xr-x 2 root root 1024 Feb 6 1996 proc
lr-x-wSr-T 1 daemon 42831 256 Dec 31 1969 etc ->
lr-x-wSr-T 1 daemon 42831 256 Dec 31 1969 tmp ->
Yet, it most certainly has an /etc directory!
Something isn't quite right with the ext2fs. I know I've run it on
machines at Sandelman for some time, but that wasn't with a 2.0.35 Linux
kernel that did the install. Maybe they fixed something, or changed some
state?
Ideas?
I have not set the EXT2FS_SYSTEM_FLAGS option. I will try that though.
