Oh good, at least it's not me :-)

bouyer-ide also broke my Sony Vaio PCMCIA CD-ROM.  Now this CD-ROM is
extremely fragile (it's the one that can only be reset once), so I thought
it was just me, but maybe it's not.

What happens with it is when it gets to __wdcwait_reset() the status
registers always return 0xff.  I think I'll look at an older wdc.c and
see how it's probe differs.
