is there any way to tell rcs *not* to interpret (and replace) any
version keywords it finds in documents it's working with?
i wanna be able to put arbitrary documents in version control,
completely independent from (and without affecting) any other version
control they might be under.
or is this a stupid idea?
if i was using sccs, this would not be a problem since sccs's keywords
only exist in the checked out (ie, writeable) copy of the source...
