This is true only if both the local and remote filesystems are in
the critical_filesystems list, and the local filesystem in question
does not mount on root. This makes the possibility of this happening
even more remote, since by default the only filesystems in
critical_filesystems are /usr and /var. So I think that, even with
this, the lossage we'd experience with this change is less than
that we'd experience without it.
