Subject: where to put HTML documentation

  I had suggested either /usr/share/doc/xntp or /usr/share/doc/html/xntp.

  I couldn't think of a reason to have "html" in the list. Afterall, it
isn't called /usr/share/doc/ps/usd! 

  It has been suggested that /usr/share/doc/xntp is too high in the directory
structure. That begs the question as to how much father down it should go,
and what should be in the middle....
  I don't have a clear idea where/how it should go. 

  I'm not sure that I agree that /usr/share/doc is going to rapidly become
excessively busy. Particularly in comparison to /usr/share/info!
