Just to counter these reports a little: I build NetBSD daily on a SPARC
Classic (running current) which has /usr/src mounted from a SPARC LX
running 1.3. They both have FSBE/S cards in 'em (a late-model AMD LANCE
with extra buffering), and I've had no failures related to NFS, save for
the sign extension stuff that I committed a fix for in the
src/sys/nfs/xdr_subs.h file about a week ago. I also run a netbooted
diskless Shark from the same server...
