I would too. Something as simple as /etc/cron/maxsixe
(oops.../var/cron/maxsize at the moment :-)) that works like
/var/crash/minfree would be fine, and would save a lot of parsing
code.

I don't have time to do this this instant, but we've got lots of
time until the next release.
