I've just added a driver for USB modems, umodem, and all the supporting
stuff (I hope).  The device nodes are called /dev/umodemN and can be
created with MAKEDEV as usual.
I'd be very interested in hearing about experiences with the driver, both
good and bad, since I've only been able to test it with one modem.
