I personally mostly want the ability to hot-swap disks, especially compact
flash ones.  ;-)

The network card is fine for me; my ne2000 (which doesn't work in cardbus
yet, oh well) can just have the network cable unplugged from it.  CF cards
are more of a pain.  My goal is to have a couple weeks of uptime despite
daily 'make builds'.  ;)
