I forgot to mention - this is on NetBSD/i386, so it's etc.i386/MAKEDEV
that no longer generates md0a. Also, eg.
src/distrib/i386/floppies/ramdisk/dot.profile
has to have ROOTDEV changed from md0a to md0 etc..

Why not just go back to having md0a?
