The Hammer Storage SCSI JackHammer card for the Macintosh has a QLogic
ISP1040 on it. These are supposedly a fairly common card on the Macintosh
platform, so maybe they can be had for a good price, or at least without
waiting five weeks.
Does anyone know if these Mac cards will work with the MI driver? You
might not be able to boot off it, but it ought to work, right? I've heard
the ISP is one of the best chips and has one of the best NetBSD drivers,
but that availability has scared people away from it in the past.
