Well, good news. I send out a pr yesterday with a diff to
dev/cardbus/if_ex_cardbus.c so that the 3c575ct gets detected. BTW,
this is the card with the "xjack" connector, i.e. it does not use a
dongle to connect the 10baseT cable to the card.
I also did some testing with an earlier 3c575, a version which does
use the dongle, and that card does work. So, it's not a major
hardware problem with my laptop, and apparently my kernel config file
is ok.
Is there hope for the 3c575ct? Here's more info which I probably
should have included the first time.
