$ which ps
/bin/ps
$ file /bin/ps
/bin/ps: setgid ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1, statically linked, stripped

It's statically linked which means you still have to rebuild ps itself 
after rebuilding libkvm.
