Hi,

I'm trying to get the built-in ftp to work through my proxy server, but I'm
confused as to how to configure it to work properly. I've tried setting
ftp_proxy and http_proxy to various combinations of:

proxy.domain.com:8080
ftp://proxy.domain.com:8080
http://proxy.domain.com:8080

etc., but to no avail. Netscape uses the proxy fine, so I know that works.

Can anyone shed some light on this? It must be something simple, I'm sure.
