Anybody working on a Moto coldfire, m68kish, NetBSD port? Can't let
them oily penguins get all the Cisco 2501 glory! B^).
Are any of the mips ports on handhelds/game controllers running
without an MMU?
I assume you'd need to generate totally relatively addressed
object code and do some pretty fancy bus/memory signal footwork without
an MMU.
Does the coldfire arch have some sort of segment tricks, '286, or maybe
fence registers like the old Crayster's use?
Anyways, we brought up the oily bird kernel on some junky 2501's at
work for yuks today and I was wondering if any of the NetBSD ports
had already done work on MMU challenged setups.
