# Did librpcsvc got rebuilt ?
Thank you to everyone for the small nudges; my build bombed out somewhere
in the middle (don't remember where). So with portmap no longer working,
I had to rebuild the rpc chain and install it manually. mountd, nfsd,
bootparamd, ypserv, ypbind, yppasswdd and, of course, rpcbind, followed
by installing /etc/services, /etc/rpc and moving the old rc.d dir out
of the way, reinstalling it, and then /etc/netconfig.
The real trick was *remembering* that I had to do this on the server as well
as the client.
Thanks again. Took a bit, but I'm back in realspace again.
