Sorry to come back to this after so long, but the issue is still
present (certainly under 1.5_BETA2).
I think I have the same problem as you - the huge distortion in
playing a track, just at a much higher chance of occuring.
When you get the problem, if you immediately play the next track
at 11KHz do you get any distortion?
