I'm trying to boot off a raid1 partition (kernel is being loaded from
a non-raid disk). I get (on i385, NetBSD1.5R):
boot device: wd0
root on raid0a dumps on raid0b
cannot mount root, error = 6
root@orava ~ # disklabel -r wd4
# /dev/rwd4d:
type: RAID
disk: ibm45g
...
root@orava ~ # disklabel -r wd5
# /dev/rwd5d:
type: RAID
disk: ibm45g
...
root@orava ~ # disklabel -r raid0
# /dev/rraid0d:
type: RAID
disk: raid45g
...
root@orava ~ # raidctl -s raid0
Components:
/dev/wd4e: optimal
/dev/wd5e: optimal
...
RAID Level: 1
Autoconfig: Yes
Root partition: Yes
Last configured as: raid0
...
What did I do wrong? :)
Thanks,
-jm
