Ah, you got that too. I had it a couple of days back when I upgraded
rp-pppoe from 2.4 to 2.8 but I rebuilt my kernel and took out pppoe
so I didn't know if it still happened.
Currently the in-kernel pppoe version still tries to grab packets even
when the interface is not configured. Well, it was when I was looking
at it again a couple of weeks back.
