got it: the 3rd was libg2c. In the Makefile
.if defined(USE_NEW_TOOLCHAIN)
...
.else
#
# XXX - BEGIN - Old toolchain build goop - delete when everything migrated - XXX
#
MKPIC=no # XXX hack; shlib_version mismatch
^^^^^^^^
=> no shlibs => can't make release...
Worth just removing
./usr/lib/libg2c.so.0 base-sys-shlib
./usr/lib/libobjc.so.0 base-sys-shlib
./usr/lib/libstdc++.so.2 base-sys-shlib
from src/distrib/sets/lists/base/shl.*,md.vax ? or just assume we'll all
be using USE_NEW_TOOLCHAIN shortly and ignore it for a bit?
Cheers,
