Yes, on the server, /usr is indeed a mount point.
Things used to work with /etc/exports having
/usr/home -maproot=root
/usr/src -maproot=root
.
.
.
and the clients having
host:/usr/home /usr/home nfs rw
in /etc/fstab
But today they stopped working when the server was rebooted. I had also
rebooted the clients in hopes that that would fix things, but it didn't
help.
So, I replaced the server's /etc/export with just
/home -maproot=root -alldirs
and now it is working again! I just don't understand why! :)
