I installed a week-old kernel on my IBM TP310E in hope of getting it
working well enough for my 2.75 yr son.  Well, I should've known better..
NetBSD has been getting worse on my laptop since 1.4.x, and it still is.
;) :(

I'll try disabling APM in kernel, but I would like to have it functional,
especially on a laptop.

(It seems I can also crash my desktop system (with an older -current) when
using audio record, suspending the recording process and resuming it.. but
this problem may not exist in the most recent kernels..)
