	This was with the CVS_RSH set to ssh.  It looks like it died some 
where in syssrc.  I'll try running it again without the CVS_RSH set to 
ssh.  I need the z5 compression because I have a slow 56k connection.
	To all who have offered advice, thanks.  The upgrade is progressing 
slowly, but I'm learning a lot in the process.
