Hi Folks,
=09I'm trying to get some of my linux apps going, which haven't worked si=
nce=20
going to 2.4.18 emulation and 7.3 suse pkgsrc on my i386 current machine=20
(20020610).
=09In particular I'm trying forte4java community edition from Sun, and li=
mewire=20
a filesharing app. Both of them start and then just hang. Killable 'thou.=
If=20
I look at systat -w 1 vmstat, I can see most time has gone from user to=20
system and there are a very large number of traps and page faults going o=
n=20
until app is killed. Seems like some kind of loop.
=09Has anyone else seen this type of thing? Any known probs on linux emul=
ation=20
on i386?
BTW, I wrote a siginfo.h file for linux emuation i386. It is a little=20
different from the alpha one which i386 is using at the moment. This made=
no=20
difference to above though. I've picked one or two typos in code too, but=
I=20
don't think they are relevant. Does anybody want this stuff?
Take care,
=09Murray Armfield
