I have tested the 2 solutions, one with Linux and PPPoE, one with NetBSD
1.5.2 and rp-pppoe. CPU usage is very similar, but I cant tailor Linux
kernel the same way I'm doing on NetBSD. I'm waiting NetBSD 1.6 ;-)
With another old config, I saw very high CPU usage but it was the fact of
network interface (some kind of polled thing on ISA bus). Run very smooth
with 2x 3Com PCI cards now.
