After all that furore over dynamic /bin and co, I'm mystified: I cvs updated
yesterday Sep 2 13:31 GMT, build.sh'd rather than make build, and yet

  # ldd `which pax`
  ldd: /bin/pax: not dynamically linked

Hasn't "it" happened yet? Is there something I should have done first?
(Don't mind either way dynamic or static..)
