Hi -
After some fixes just checked in a firewire harddisk I borrowed
is basically usable.
The firewire stuff is not terribly reliable; sometimes the inquiry
appearently failes without being reported, so one gets:
fwnode0 at fwohci0 Node 1: UID 00:04:83:02:e2:00:34:20
fwnode0: Link Speed: 100Mb/s, max_rec: 64 bytes
sbpscsi0 at fwnode0
scsibus0 at sbpscsi0: 1 target, 1 lun per target
sd0 at scsibus0 target 0 lun 0: <, , > disk fixed
sd0: mode sense (4) returned nonsense; using fictitious geometry
sd0: 78533 MB, 78533 cyl, 64 head, 32 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 160836480 sectors
where the last 2 lines should be:
sd0 at scsibus0 target 0 lun 0: <IC35L080, AVVA07-0, > simplified direct fixed
sd0: 78533 MB, 78533 cyl, 64 head, 32 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 160836480 sectors
Anyway, it is better than before, so you might give it another try...
best regards
Matthias
