Since a few weeks I'm sometimes seeing multiple ntpds starting up when I
boot my sparc. There is nothing in /etc/rc.d that would explain it and
it does not happen always.

Of course running multiple ntpd instances on the same machine does not
work, so the additional ones complain verbosly.

Has anyone seen this? Any ideas?

I've not seen it on anything else but sparc, but that may be just luck.
I guess before hunting I'll upgrade the machine to a real recent -current
(it's now running -current from a few weeks ago)
