Hello...

I want to use a LFS partition for my checked out CVS sources. Right
now they are nearly current and reside on a FFS partition. I am trying
to copy them with

  sudo pax -r -w -v -pe <path on ffs>/localsrc <path on lfs>/

If I understand everything right, this command is supposed to copy
everything over with root privileges and should therefor set the
access and modification times of the target files to the times of the
source files. But on the target I find the access times copied
correctly, while the modification times show the time of the copy!

Oh, some data: The kernel is from this mornings -current, the user
land is about one or two days older. The FFS exists for months/years
and a fsck_ffs yesterday went clean. The LFS is a normal LFSv2 created
today with fsize 1024 and bsize 8192 in the disklabel. The platform is
i386 (Pentium2-266).

As pax and LFS exist for quite some time already and I tend to make
silly mistakes (esp. in the evening ;-) ), I rather ask before filing
a PR.

Any hints or RTFMs with exact data welcome. :-)
