I was using build.sh to build a macppc release from sources of a day or
two ago (after the recent fix to fsck_ffs), and it got through the
whole build up until the kernels:
sh /scratch/netbsd/current/src/sys/conf/newvers.sh
/usr/tools/bin/powerpc--netbsd-gcc -pipe -msoft-float -ffreestanding -O2 -pipe -Wreturn-type -Werror -Wall -Wno-main -Wno-format-zero-length -Wpointer-arith -Wmissing-prototypes -Wstrict-prototypes -Wno-sign-compare -Wno-uninitialized -Dmacppc -I. -I/scratch/netbsd/current/src/sys/arch -I/scratch/netbsd/current/src/sys -nostdinc -DLKM -DDIAGNOSTIC -DZS_CONSOLE_ABORT -DMAXUSERS=32 -D_KERNEL -D_KERNEL_OPT -c vers.c
--- netbsd ---
/usr/tools/bin/powerpc--netbsd-ld -N -Ttext 0x100000 -e __start -S -o netbsd ${SYSTEM_OBJ} ${EXTRA_OBJ} vers.o
db_disasm.o: In function `disasm_fields':
db_disasm.o(.text+0x4cc): undefined reference to `db_symstr'
*** [netbsd] Error code 1
1 error
nbmake: stopped in /scratch/netbsd/current/src/sys/arch/macppc/compile/obj.macppc/GENERIC
*** Error code 2
Stop.
any clues? Will updating help?
Thanks,
