Hi

I have similar issue with IDE ZIP drive.Unfortunately kernel dosn't see it
anymore.It worked fine before.I still have problems with my LiteOn/CD/RW.When i
boot my box i see often messages:

viaide0:0:1: lost interrupt
	type: ata tc_bcount: 0 tc_skip: 0
, DMA mode 2, Ultra-DMA mode 2 (Ultra/33)
cd0(viaide0:0:0): using PIO mode 4, Ultra-DMA mode 2 (Ultra/33) (using DMA data
transfers)
cd1(viaide0:0:1): using PIO mode 4, Ultra-DMA mode 2 (Ultra/33) (using DMA data
transfers)
