I use it almost every build (now with MKUPDATE=yes MKUNPRIVED=yes
in /etc/mk.conf; I often still type -uU in any case).  The out of
date situation with libraries is a known issue with MKUPDATE=yes builds.

I've considered fixing postinstall to clean up obsolete "minor"
shared library versions (similar to src/lib/checkoldver); I just
haven't gotten around to it yet.  We don't want that for major
library versions for most invocations of postinstall; it's probably
only required for DESTDIR!=/ MKUPDATE=yes builds.


As to why the nothing's been done in the 48 hours since you first
posted about the error; not everyone is wedded to the keyboard 24x7;
some of us have other (higher) priorities in life, such as "real jobs"
and "spouses and children".

This is a volunteer project; you pay for what you get, and yelling
for people to fix stuff is not an effective way to get things fixed.
It may be the motivational method in other projects, but it certainly
does not work in NetBSD or for me.
