We use a Suse 7.3 base don't we? Wasn't 7.3 long before the days of
gtk2/glib2/gnome2? That's the big question, otherwise, it's time to
dig up a glib2.rpm and gtk2.rpm for Suse and make a pkgsrc entry for
it.
