After checking file time stamps it's clear that *nothing* in the
userland was updated by "./build.sh install=/". Curses, foiled
again!!!
I'm going to create a tar ball of "/usr/src/destdir.i386" except
for the "etc" sub directory and will expand the tar ball in "/".
