Hello all, since 2 months, NetBSD -current is giving me some
headaches. The problem is with uvm and pagedaemon.

In the beginning, pagedaemon spoke out a lot of warnings messages
about deadlocks (pagedaemon: deadlock detected!), I know there was a
thread on this mailing-list about this, I didnt have enought time to
pay attention so I dont know what did you talk about here.

The problem is, I update my src everyday and I build the new system
everyday and when I come home, I test pagedaemon untaring some tarballs
simoultaneously, but it's impossible. Since 1 week, I cannot untar even
just 1 tarball in time (a little syssrc.tgz makes pagedaemon speak),
and the worst is that if you dont stop the tar process, the system is
hanged.

I've got 512MB of RAM (dont think that's my problem), I use 1G of
swap; and my kernel is always the latest, I use NEW_BUFQ_STRATEGY
and FFS with 8K block-size and 1K fragment-size (32K/4K for /home
partition). I use an Intel pentium4.

My question is: is there any plan to fix that PR (about deadlocks
with pagedaemon)?? It was able to use the system for a while, but
nowadays, (i dont know why), the pagedaemon register deadlocks much
soon, so it's impossible to work around.

   Thanks in advance.
