current-users: Does NetBSD need to be on a Primary Partition?

I have 10 partitions, (3 primary, 7 extended), does NetBSD need to be
installed on one of the 3 primary partitions, or does it not matter? 
I have heard that some of the BSD's need to use a primary partition.
