 	etc/root/dot.shrc has:

 	    case "$-" in *i*)
 		    PS1="${HOST%%.*}$PS1"
 		    set -o emacs
 		    ;;
 	    esac

 	So this _should_ be working. If anyone wants to submit patches
 	to fix it... :)
