Managed to eventually get a matching copy. anoncvs master site gave
some errors (fork failed, resource not available, or whatever).
I guess it is quite overloaded, and I don't wonder. fi-mirror denies
access (been the same for about a month now), se-mirror is glacially slow,
anoncvs2.us was the one giving bad data, no-mirror uses non-std ssh port
so I did not want to configure for that, lithuania was not serving before,
so did not try it this time. Got my bits from be-mirror, and still have fr
and de mirrors in "reserve". Only tried CVS_RSH=ssh mirrors, though.
I'd say there are other problems with the "mirrors" besides just
bit corruption or out-of-sync issues.
