Interesting. I've tried it a number of times on my 8650. Hangs every time.
I've tried it just a few weeks ago on my 3100/76, it hung pretty quick
once more.
Never succeeded in getting it to work on any VAX I've tried.
Always with -current. I could try it again tonight, and see what happens.
