FWIW, I also noticed this on a ~4 weeks old 3.0_BETA system.
The drives are 80G IDE, split in 3 raid sets:
16 partitions:
# size offset fstype [fsize bsize cpg/sgs]
a: 560448 1008 RAID # (Cyl. 1 - 556)
c: 156301425 63 unused 0 0 # (Cyl. 0*- 155060)
d: 156301488 0 unused 0 0 # (Cyl. 0 - 155060)
e: 945 63 4.2BSD 1024 8192 472 # (Cyl. 0*- 0)
f: 39999456 561456 RAID # (Cyl. 557 - 40238)
g: 115740576 40560912 RAID # (Cyl. 40239 - 155060)
