I noticed change in iwi.c performing src updates and I can report iwi works now on CURRENT - 3.99.7.
I can ping my AP which was not possible before when I only could assiciate to it.
I have the latest firmware avaliable in pkgsrc's.
It still takes a while before ICMP replies come back but they at least do :)
