If it may be useful, I am using a NetGear WG511T card, with NetBSD-current.

I have no bmiss of any sort. The only thing that goes wrong is the TCP 
input packet count: at some point, any incoming packet is deemed wrong 
and trashed. The level 2 is not interrupted. There seems to be no 
recovery, even waiting for a long time.
