Blame Christos, /boot has grown by 10k with the new libz.
Size changes for libz (comparison against netbsd 3.0):
libz.a(adler32.o) 715 new
libz.a(crc32.o) 9223
libz.a(infblock.o) -3128 deleted
libz.a(infcodes.o) -1874 deleted
libz.a(inffast.o) 70
libz.a(inflate.o) 9115
libz.a(inftrees.o) -5335
libz.a(infutil.o) -833 deleted
The only other significant one is cd9660 support at 2k and a couple
of hundred bytes in strchr and strrchr.
