I've done a minor adjustment, and I wiped my DESTDIR on an UPDATE
build for i386 including X11, and it built fine.

However, I did not make adjustments for 80 files -- it was more
like entries for 10-12 files which needed adjustment.  With these
changes in place, I now appear to have working builds both for
HAVE_GCC=3D3 and HAVE_GCC=3D4 ports, with the caveat that the builds
are UPDATE builds.

I'm not sure what would cause the build system to think 80 files
were missing...
