I'm unable to boot an X86 machine from either an installation CD, 
created  with build.sh iso-image, or the installation flooppies. The 
computer completes most of the boot process before spontaneously 
rebooting; I've been unable, so far, to capture or see the console 
messages just prior to reboot.

The release was built with HAVE_GCC=4. Is there a known problem?

I've tried two different computers with the same result.
