Hi All,
This is just an "open-question" ...
I've just got a 3Com 3CR990B-FX-97 PCI Nic ... And I've tried to use
it with NetBSD Current ( 4.99.3 Built on October 20, 2006 ) but I
cannot get this car working ...
Seems to be recognize by the kernel ... but not working ...
DMESG show me that :
txp0 at pci1 dev 6 function 0: 3Com 3c990B 10/100 Ethernet with 3XP
txp0: interrupting at ioapic0 pin 5 (irq 5)
: fw wait failed comm0
txp0: fw wait failed, initial
And when I try an ifconfig txp0 .... i got this message :
ifconfig: SIOCGIFFLAGS txp0: Device not configured
So it seems that this card is not supported yet ...
So, the question : does somebody use this king of nic and if yes, how
can i do to configure it ?
Best regards
Arnaud.
