Re: amd64 kernel not identifying root filesystem

A moderately recent 'current' amd64 kernel (I think from source from

It gives:
opendisk: can't open dev wd0 (16)
opendisk: can't open dev wd0 (16)
opendisk: can't open dev wd0 (16)
boot device: <unknown>
This is a ASUS A8V delux.
Any thoughts?
It's working fine for me on a very recent 4.99.49 sstem (built right
before the bump to 4.99.50):
boot device: wd0
root on wd0a dumps on wd0b
