The Desktop machine (running ipnat) is a dual-core AMD64 with built-in
nfe0 and add-on re0.
The laptop involved is an old Acer i386 with an on-board rtk0. It also
has a on-board WiFi but it's one of the not-yet-supported Atheron, IIRC.
I also have a USB-attached rum0 WiFi configured, but it is rarely
plugged in.
Nothing in common with your interface types as far as I can see.
