        Hello.  Following up on this thread, I was wondering if you might be
able to work around the problem by setting the
MaxRequestsPerChild
variable in httpd.conf to a low enough number that each child would die
before it got into the funny state.  Of course it would be good to know
where things are getting fouled up, but I put this suggestion out as a fix
to allow you to move forward if the fix isn't in by the time you need to go
production.
